Blossoming Communities  were initially invited into Hirst Park Pavilion by the Hirst Park Revival Project. The sessions here  focused on building trusting relationships, supporting each other and supporting yourself. The group especially enjoyed making compliment flowers, journals and diamond art. Ashington Town Council also gave us some funding for resources.

A member of this group went on to do a Peer Support course and now volunteers for ESCAPE, Full Circle Food and Blossoming Communities. She is really enjoying the changes this has made o her life, stating regularly "I'm loving it!".
