ESCAPE

Blossoming Communities have worked at and with ESCAPE Family Support several times, running workshops, joining in with events and being commissioned to create a banner to celebrate their 30th birthday.

Chatting and crafting , it reduces my stress. The time just flies, 2 hours feels like 20 minutes. I'd like to do more.

We always get a warm welcome and feel very appreciated when we are there. It feels very good to know that we are contributing to the aims of ESCAPE and giving people the opportunity to participate in some mindful creativity.

We were commissioned to work with staff, clients and volunteers to create a banner to celebrate ESCAPE's 30th birthday. The design was inspired by a miner's banner and everyone created a square showing what ESCAPE has meant to them. A thought provoking book to accompany the banner has also been produced.
